But tonight in San Antonio LeBron James will likely make a different kind of NBA history but is just as significant (if not more so) from a historical perspective.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are your NBA Champions — and on Monday Panini America will have the cardboard to prove it.
The first real-time Panini Instant basketball cards will document the NBA Finals and the Cavs’ unlikely and historic championship beginning on Monday.
The company teased the images above shortly after Game 7 on Sunday night, confirming the previously teased cardboard and giving us all a hint of what’s to come.
The NBA Finals had already begun when Panini America recently revealed its new real-time trading card platform called Panini Instant, but that’s not stopping the showdown between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers from getting a bit more cardboard.
That will start sometime soon as we await Game 5 of the series tonight.

Upper Deck has added Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love to its exclusive autographed memorabilia team that already includes another notable Cav.
The Kevin Love Collection will only be found via Upper Deck Authenticated and it will include limited art pieces as well as signed basketballs and jerseys.
“Kevin Love is a great addition to our ever-growing portfolio of basketball superstars,” said Upper Deck President Jason Masherah. “We are excited to bring fresh and innovative products to his fans in across the globe, and we look forward to introducing some exclusive multi-signed items featuring Love with other Upper Deck athletes in the future.”

LeBron James became just the 20th player in NBA history to score 25,000 points for his career, and he’s done it faster than any other player — at age 31. Including ABA stats, just 25 players in history have reached that mark.
We all know James’ cards are among the priciest in the hobby but we should consider that he’ll potentially be in the Top 10 by season’s end. It makes one wonder if James under-appreciated when it comes to his value on cardboard.
