The NFL’s top rookies — and their autographs — are available now via Panini Instant.
Panini America has a 24-card All-Rookie Team set showcasing top rookies from this past season and each set will include a bonus autograph card from one of a few notable names.
The NFL’s rookie class of 2016 is mostly in the offseason now but that doesn’t mean their action when it comes to cardboard is over.
In fact, 13 top guys have been busy signing for Panini America the last two days during the “NFLPA Rookie Closeout” as part of the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl‘s festivities. The rookies on hand for the event are catching up on signing for upcoming brands such as 2016 National Treasures, Flawless, Encased and Plates & Patches as well as recently released brands like Donruss Optic.
The NFL’s regular season may be over, but the next card set comes on Friday — and we have a new look at what’s to come.
It’s 2016 Panini Limited and it’s packed with memorabilia cards featuring some of the biggest young stars in the game as well as others.
Chicago Bears RB Jordan Howard had one of the more-impressive seasons for a rookie this year and he’s got at least one “variation” in 2016 Panini Contenders that’s even more interesting than his showing on the field.
At least one collector has found one of these cards — and it’s unknown whether others even exist — but this on-card auto above appears to have been by someone else.
Who?
The regular season is now over in the NFL and that means one thing — we now have final stats.
Ok, ok … it also means the playoffs.
But for many rookies and players who are important in the hobby and may not be playing this weekend, those final stats are one way to assess whether we should continue to sink our dollars into their cards. Two rookies of note in 2016, Dallas’ Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, will still be playing and they lead off our first of 13 Buzz Poll questions all about the NFL this year.

The headline says it all for 2016 SAGE Autographed football cards.
SAGE revealed on Tuesday that it is “adding broader content” while noting that all of the base cards are now printed on premium stock and that there will be 24 standard autographed cards and at least one dual autographed card in every box of this hobby-only brand set to arrive on May 25.
