Funko launches new line of ‘Vnyl.’ toys at San Diego Comic-Con

“There’s no ‘i’ in Vynl. because there’s always two of them!”

No, it’s not a typo — and that explains it for the naming of a new line of vinyl figures launching from Funko that’s making its debut at San Diego Comic-Con later this month.

“Funko is proud to introduce Vynl., a brand new line of stylized vinyl collectibles created with pop culture fanatics in mind,” the company said in a statement. “Vynl. will take a new approach to collecting by showcasing the intricate relationships between beloved characters through a playful new aesthetic … every Vynl. release will contain two figures in order to highlight the connection between both characters and play off of their respective storylines.”
