The Rock’s new Under Armour shoes are sold out — and electrifying eBay

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson may be the most-electrifying man in sports entertainment, but his new line of Under Armour training shoes are giving him a run for his money.

They’re dubbed the Rock Delta and the first wave of the shoes is sold out from the company after just one day.

Because of this, the company now has a second wave available on pre-order set to arrive in mid-August and for now there’s a pretty strong market for the shoes on eBay.

While they retail for $139.99 over on the Under Armour site, the eBay market has seen the Rock Delta shoes sell for as much as $305 for a pair. That’s not an anomaly, either, as there have been at least 30 completed auctions topping at least $225 … so far.

The mania is just getting started with these, too, with asking prices as high as $599 on the auction site with the lowest prices among active auctions at $220.

“Now it’s my turn to thank you guys around the world. #ROCKDELTA officially sold out and has become the fastest-selling shoe of 2017,” Johnson said via a post on his Instagram account. “The goal was to make an phenomenal training shoe, but I didn’t want to just slap my name on a shoe and promote it. That’s the easy way and not my style. I wanted to take my time and do it right. Wanted consumers to know that by the time the shoe is delivered to their front door, I’ve trained hard in them and helped engineer them for over a year. Talk the talk, but more importantly we walk the walk.”
