Newest Lelands auction includes some serious baseball history

A number of high-end and truly historic baseball items are leading the way in the latest Lelands Masters Auction.

What you see above? A 1962 Topps first series cello box.

It includes 36 packs that originally cost buyers $3.60 if they cleared out the box. It’s been inspected, authenticated and documented by Baseball Card Exchange and includes a number of packs with stars showing, including four showing Stan Musial and then appearances by Sandy Koufax, Ernie Banks, Eddie Mathews, Brooks Robinson and a number of leaders cards.

Bidding currently sits at $48,717 after just eight bids — and it’s not even close to the biggest item in the sale.

Aaron Rodgers signs autograph exclusive with Steiner Sports


The Green Bay Packers’ quarterback has a new home — at least for autographs.

Steiner Sports revealed on Tuesday that it has signed Super Bowl champion and two-time league MVP Aaron Rodgers to an exclusive deal for autographed memorabilia.

He joins a roster of new signees that includes the Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry and New York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius and a football roster that previously included Eli Manning, Odell Beckham Jr., Lou Holtz and Archie Manning among others.

Aaron Judge is that Yankee and thanks to several years’ of prospecting sets and his blazing 2017 Rookie Card arrival he’s arguably the hottest cardboard in the hobby today and pretty much has been all season long. Hulk Hogan ‘Rookie Card’ pumps up Hulkamaniacs over on eBay

One of the highest-graded copies of one of a wrestling icon’s first cards has hit eBay and is already putting on a show.

It’s the 1982 Wrestling All-Star Series A card of Hulk Hogan, and it’s a card from an iconic set that was available via mail order three years before the first WWF (now WWE) cards arrived in packs from Topps.

Is it a Rookie Card? Is it not a Rookie Card? Doesn’t really matter, brother, as it’s already a big deal on eBay.

Hot Boxes aren’t only potential surprises in 2017 Topps UFC Chrome

Topps has made UFC cards for nearly a decade, but the arrival of its first Chrome set is one that packs some intentional surprise punch — and maybe other surprises.

While 2017 Topps Chrome UFC guarantees two autographs per box as well as Hot Boxes with extra ink and Diamond Boxes in every case, but at least one breaker has reported finding a lot more extra ink.
