The CGI isn’t done? Who needs CGI when there are toys … err, action figures.
That’s the early sentiment in a new teaser trailer for Deadpool 2 that dropped today that lets “The Merc With a Mouth” introduce viewers to a big player in the Marvel Comics universe who’s making his big-screen debut in this one.
It’s Cable — and he’ll apparently be sparring with Wade Wilson and company in the film.
A new Star Wars standalone movie is just months away — and if you missed a short teaser aired during the Super Bowl last night then you’re ready for a longer teaser trailer today.
And if you did see the teaser for Solo: A Star Wars Story, then you’re clearly ready for more.
Yes, that’s a giant PEZ dispenser about to take out a villain — and that’s just one of the oddities you’ll see in the newest trailer from Marvel Studios.
This one? It’s Ant-Man and The Wasp and this time around Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) joins Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) in some big-scale adventures involving technology that makes everything possible.
Check out the new trailer released just this morning after the jump.
The trailer for Avengers: Infinity War has arrived in advance of its arrival in May, and it’s got everything you might expect and more.
This one’s clearly going to be darker, but it’s also going to bring some groups together that haven’t shared screen time before in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It will be the 19th film as part of the continuity (away from the X-Men films, which are a different studio) when it arrives.
The first trailer for The New Mutants has arrived in advance of its arrival in April, and it’s pretty clear that this one won’t be spawning from the latter days of the 100-issue series that evolved into a full-on super-team called X-Force.
This one’s going to be darker — apparently with a lot less spandex — taking on a horror-film feel while introducing fans to a whole new crop of mutants known relatively well from the comic books.
Update (Oct. 9): Scroll down for the first full trailer and a look at the latest advance poster.

Up next on the comic book movie hit list is Deadpool, a Marvel-inspired creation arriving on Feb. 12 that you’ve already probably seen a commercial for a few times here and there. (As long as you have a pulse … or a TV.)
Deadpool is a wise-ass who arrived in the Marvel universe in February 1991 via The New Mutants No. 98. That $1 book will cost you more now but the Rob Liefeld creation has many other appearances out there for fans to chase in all those years since.
His second appearance comes in X-Force No. 2 — everybody has X-Force, right? (Even Buzz has at least a dozen No. 2’s in storage somewhere to go with 30-some first issues … )
Since we’re close to the arrival, Buzz figured it was time for a vote — check out the latest trailer below and then tell us what you’ll do.

There are plenty of movies that are probably on the radars of collectors these days, whether it’s the newest sports movie or one of the countless comic book-inspired releases coming soon.
While there’s inevitably plenty to collect for these films before their arrivals, what we see first are the trailers and that gave Buzz an idea … something extra that gets ’em buzzing. Up first is Suicide Squad, a DC Comics-inspired creation arriving on Aug. 5 that we’ll see plenty of in the coming months. This trailer arrived yesterday — check it out and tell us what you think.
