What’s Buzz-worthy: After a year off, Elite is back with a revamped look that feels crisper and cleaner with a perfect array of parallels, diecut inserts, holofoil designs, etched foilboard, autographs and memorabilia cards. … Every box includes two autos and one memorabilia card and one is a Pen Pals auto. This box’s was Chargers second-round pick Hunter Henry but there are plenty of big names possible there, including multi-player autos — and all are signed on-card. … This one is a tad complicated with parallels all over the place but the EPIX-inspired textures on the base parallels are tied to the color of the parallel — so it could be worse. … The checklist has a mix of past guys as well as current guys, which is a big plus when it comes to make sure there’s star power on many cards. … The Game Face and Home Field Advantage inserts are definite highlights and this box delivered very well in terms of names among the inserts. A couple of rare parallels among them made it even better. This box’s hits could have been stronger on the ink side, but, all in all, this was still a fun break that delivered pretty well.
