What’s buzz-worthy: Encased returns for a sophomore season with the same striking look it had as a rookie and a new class of new stars — as well as all-time greats.

The Basics: The graded cards will once again come from the Rookie Endorsements, Rookie Dual Swatch Signatures, Scripted Signatures, Rookie Notable Signatures or Rookie Cap Patch Autographs sets and be graded by BGS. Also just like last year? On-card autos will be found for rookies, veterans and past stars and none will be numbered to more than 99 copies. … New for this year will be Century Collection, Firsthand Materials and Timeless Materials Signatures, while there’ll be jumbo patch cards from 2017 Pro Bowl stars — a group that includes Ezekiel Elliott, Dak Prescott, Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill, Alex Smith, Odell Beckham Jr., Von Miller, Drew Brees and Justin Tucker to name a few. … Also in the mix here will be Legendary Swatch Signatures and Vaulted Veteran Materials Signatures. … Each box will once again include one base and and carry a suggested retail price of $200.
