What’s buzz-worthy: Panini’s high-end brand is back on the hardwood once again with a few new touches but much of what collectors have come to expect. One new inclusion? Inscriptions.

The Basics: The new touches here will come via Personalized! inserts that will have “unique and original” autograph cards. (We’ll get to wait on those as the set was not teased visually.) There also will be full-letter jersey patches from the 2016 NBA Finals as well as printing plates from various brands and, of course, rookie patch autos. Rounding things out will be Logoman autos, Treasured Tags autos, International Treasures autos, Hometown Heroes autos and Colossal jersey patch autos. … A base set size and checklists were not revealed and there are likely to be more inclusions by the time this one arrives. … Boxes carry a suggested retail price of $500.
