What’s Buzz-worthy: On the hobby side, this one is an affordable brand that can deliver pretty well (one auto and one memorabilia card every time) and it won’t do that until next week. But, what we have here, is one of the three options that have already dropped at retail in advance of Black Friday sales next week. (There are blasters, jumbo packs and these hanger boxes.) I opted to rip a hanger instead of a blaster (at least for now) and it seems that these packs deliver nearly just as many inserts as last year’s blasters. Opening this pack was an interesting one as literally half of it was retired and Hall of Fame players, while the other half was active players and in the middle were all the inserts and the Red Zone parallels. Those simply have red-foil stamping and are only found here to go with the First Down, Second Down and so on parallels that are found in hobby. This one isn’t super-flashy but it doesn’t intend to be — this is definitely one for a collector who wants some modern touches without going to0 far — and it feels like it’s something beyond a basic release but without overload of inserts. There are potential autographs in these boxes, too.
