Update: Sales stats have been added to the images in the gallery — McGregor set a new sales record, topping Lesnar’s previous mark.
UFC 202 is tonight and that means there are four new 2016 Topps Now UFC cards presently on pre-sale.
On Monday, the four cards will be updated with images from key matches tonight and a final 24-hour window will begin. The rematch between Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor should be the most-watched match and the most-bought card and it could set a record for Topps NOW UFC sales.
Update: A fourth card for the new Daniel Cormier vs. Anderson Silva fight has been added as has a Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt card.
With the UFC 200 main event picture a bit more murky with the news concerning Jon Jones, Topps’ launch of Topps Now for UFC marches on.
A trio of cards that will reflect three bouts from Saturday night’s action are now up for grabs via Topps’ site on a pre-order basis.
Topps Now is coming to the Octagon — and it won’t be the only new cardboard from UFC 200.
The company revealed Tuesday that it’s launching the real-time cardboard service for MMA fans starting with the event tomorrow. Images of those cards will be available when they launch.
“UFC is the perfect fit to incorporate into the Topps Now program immediately,” said Jeff Heckman, Topps’ Director of New Product Development & eCommerce Marketplace. “Every weekend there are great fights happening; we have seen a number of title changes over the last several months. Topps Now is the best way to capture these moments and give UFC fans a collectible they will treasure.”
