This year’s Bowman Chrome baseball card set arrives today with two new formats — one being a Finest-style mini-box format with an autograph guaranteed in each and the other being a vending box format with three autos inside.

The mystery of who’ll be signing for 2016 Bowman Chrome is now over.
How? Topps released the final checklist for the product on Thursday in advance of its arrival on Wednesday with a new configuration (or two).
Los Angeles Dodgers rookie Corey Seager‘s hot streak started Friday night and continued again on Sunday with his weekend tally including five homers in three games.
Not bad for a guy who was waiting (and waiting) for the call a year ago.
But Seager’s domination at the plate got Buzz wondering which way collectors are leaning on Seager ink. He’s pretty much a given to appear in forthcoming brands this year — so there are plenty more autos to come with an RC logo attached (including Tier One this week) — but he’s already got a rich autograph history. Even on Chrome.
They’re back.
A Twitter-only parallel to Bowman only available via packs given away online last year are back for 2016, according to Topps, but they’re coming to collectors in a different way.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that he’ll be included, but it should be a surprise when you pull him.
Topps announced on Monday that Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Kenta Maeda will have autographed Rookie Cards in 2016 Bowman Chrome when it arrives on Sept. 7.
